Biography
Robert was born in 1873. He was the son of George De Vismes and Anna Pond. He was baptised on 28 May 1873 St Brelade, Jersey by parents George Robert Sullivan de Visme and Anna Augusta Pond. [1]
In 1891 Robert was living in Jersey with his Aunt Eliza de Visme, his mother Anna and cousin Julius Philip. Both women were widowed and living on their own means. [2]
In 1911 Robert was the head of the household living in Jersey with is mother (who'd previously been married for 6 years and had 1 child). He was living on his own means. [3]
On 11 February 1914 Robert married Marguerite Jenkinson in St Brelade, Jersey. He was aged 42. Marguerite was 32. He was an Army Major. [4]
Robert passed away in 1950 at the Millbrook Nursing Home in Jersey. [5]
